Hoop Spreaders are designed primarily for home embroidery machine hoops, but can also be used by commercial embroiderers whose hoops do not already have a mechanism for allowing the tension screw to expand easily. The Spreader is permanently inserted onto the tension screw between the two connecting edges of the hoop, giving the hoop more flexibility and allowing it to expand and contract more easily, making hooping easier.
